Martial Arts History :

I started training with Master Ian Soame 5^th Dan Black Belt in 1984 and achieved Black Belt status in 1989. This was followed by my 2^nd Dan in 1996, 3^rd Dan in 1999 and 4^th Dan in 2003. I was successful in achieving my Masters 5^th Dan on 18th may 2008. Apart from Tae Kwon Do I’ve enjoyed training in various Martial Arts, which have included Wingchun, Judo, Aikido, Rapid Arnis and Jujitsu.

I achieved my Level 1 Coaching in 1996, Level 2 Coaching in 1998 and my
UKASKO / UKMAF Black Belt Dan Grading Examiner Qualification in 2000. I’m also a qualified First Aider.

I was Saracen Martial Arts first Black Belt and am currently running training classes at 2 venues – Brandon Sports Centre in Suffolk and Great Hockham in Norfolk. 
My Students are of all ages and of all Grades. At this time Saracen Martial Arts has 102 Dan Grade passes to its credit.

Saracen Martial Arts has created ‘An Encyclopaedia of Tae Kwon Do’ CD ROM with the help of producer Dr Phil Davies and large numbers have been sold over the world.

I’m happily married to Lynne and we have 2 children Lauren & Megan. Lynne is a 3^rd Dan Black Belt and Level 2 Coach and both Lauren & Megan are 2^nd Kup Brown Belts.
